The Genesis

This is the story of three sibling pairs with two common threads: a love for the University of Virginia and a living fight to cure Lou Gehrig's disease.

In the Fall of 2011, the Kiernan sisters approached the group with the idea of organizing an annual benefit in New York. With ALS having stricken the homes of the Carrington and Brown families, it was an easy sell to rally behind the plan. Dubbed The Iron Horse Party in its inaugural year after Lou Gehrig's nickname, the event serves to fundraise and raise awareness of ALS.

After the outpouring of love from family and friends at the party's debut, we are joined once again and we stand immensely grateful for your support. It has transformed visions into realities, and we anxiously await the chance to celebrate life with you at this year's party.
